Visiting Athlete Protocol

1. Visiting athletes are to pay for coaching services implemented by Starz coaching personnel or performed at Starz Diving Club facilities on Starz equipment.

Costs for the Visiting Athlete:
$30 / day
$150 / week
$250 / month

The payer may choose whatever payment plan best suits the visiting athlete’s training needs. Checks are to be written to the Starz Diving Club. The above rates are established for one practice per day, no longer than 3 hours per practice, up to 6 days/ week, and shall be renegotiated for double practices to the following:
$50 / day, $250 / week, $500 / month.

2. Visiting athletes shall be registered athletes in good standing with US Diving or AAU and must have their coach’s permission to train for any period of time with the Starz Diving Club.

3. Visiting athletes shall sign the Starz Diving Club waiver and release of liability form before coaching services can be provided.

4. Visiting athletes shall behave in a manner that positively represents the Starz Diving Club with respect to sportsmanship, care of equipment and facilities, and discourse with other Starz athletes, employees, families, media representatives, or administrations that are serviced by the Starz Diving Club. Failure to fit this criteria will result in immediate termination of the training agreement of the visiting athlete per the Starz executive director’s or the assigned coach’s discretion.

5. Coaching representatives of the Starz Diving Club must voluntarily agree to coach the visiting athlete.

6. Coaching representatives of the Starz Diving Club may coach visiting athletes provided that their own program obligations are met in full without compromising the quality of instruction of the individuals already in the Starz training system. This may mean arranging separate workout times for visiting athletes as to not interrupt the training plan or group dynamics of the Starz athletes.

7. Coaching representatives of the Starz Diving Club may coach visiting athletes and receive a percent of the income generated in doing so only if such arrangements do not tax the coaching efforts, time, or any other resources of other Starz personnel directly or indirectly with regards to the regular responsibilities of the coach who has agreed to train the visiting athlete.
