Schrock advances
to State Finals
MISHAWAKA -- Concord junior Korey Schrock scored 360.25 points Tuesday to place seventh in the Penn Diving Regional and earn a spot in Saturday's IHSAA State Finals at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
The top eight placers at the regional meet advanced. Crown Point's Jimmy Page (491.30) led the way.
Concord's Chris Wells (10th), Northridge's Dustin Fritz (17th) and Memorial's Brent Rose (20th) were among those missing the cut.

1st, Jimmy Page (Crown Point) 491.30; 2nd, Alec Back (Portage) 430.90; 3rd, Brody Carter (Valparaiso) 388.15; 4th, Jerry Schaffer (Bremen) 384.90; 5th, Justin Kramer (Michigan City) 375.25; 6th, Zac Robbins (Huntington North) 367.70; 7th, Korey Schrock (Concord) 360.25; 8th, Ben Kepchar (Merrillville) 355.50.
Other area divers: 10th, Chris Wells (Concord) 321.25; 12th, Sam Lewin (Penn) 289.35; 17th, Dustin Fritz (Northridge) 205.00; 20th, Brent Rose (Memorial) 182.15.
