Starz Girls Shine at IHSAA Sate Finals!

This weekend completed the 07 cycle of the IHSAA Girls State Swimming and Diving Championships. Diving, composing the 1m springboard event and 1 of the 11 events in the championships, proved to be a fun and rewarding event for year round divers across the State of Indiana!!!
State Wide Final Starz Stats:
Sectional Championship Divers who scored Top 12 varsity points: 26/160 (16%)
Regional Qualifiers (Top 4 finishers at Sectionals): 34/80 (43%)
State Championship Qualifiers: 17/32 (53%)
State Championship Varsity Finalists (Top 16 Finishers): 11/16 (69%)
State Medalists (Top 8 Finishers): 7/8 (88%)
The Starz are proud to present our 10th consecutive IHSAA Girls Diving Champion - AUDRA EGENOLF - and Senior Teammate and State Runner Up - MONICA DODSON - These two fantastic platform specialists and year round club divers put on an awesome show this year going head to head for the title IHSAA 1m title in their final high school competition.
We'd like to recognize all the female participants in the State of Indiana who scored in the finals at the diving championships - and identify the year round diving club program that has made this result a reality for the participants:

Headline: Starz Girl Divers on their way to Regionals!
With 34/80 IHSAA Girls qualified to compete in the State Regional Championships Tuesday night (43% of the field throughout the State of Indiana), the Starz hope to kick off another successful and influential championship season at the high school level.
Another 26/160 Starz Divers placed 5 - 12th place (16% of the field) and scored varsity team points at the Sectional Championships.
Good luck to all our high school girl Starz competing at the Regionals tomorrow night! More news to follow...
