Four Former Starz Divers Ready to Rock the World Championships – 2007!!! Written By: Sean McCarthy
The USA Diving selection camp in Indianapolis this week turned over the next milestone in the Starz Diving Club’s mission to establish a gold medal winning pipeline to the Olympics for the USA. Several former Starz Diving Club athletes – now USA Diving National Training Center athletes – qualified out of the USA Diving Selection Camp to participate in the 2007 World Diving Championships in Melbourne, Australia – March 19-26.
Our featured list of former Starz Divers and their respective qualified events:
David Boudia: Age 17 - Mens 10 Meter Platform Individual, 10 meter Platform Synchro
Mary Beth Dunnichay: Age 13 – Women’s 10 Meter Platform Synchro
Thomas Finchum: Age 17 – Mens 10 Meter Platform Individual, 10 meter Platform Synchro
Mitch Richeson: Age 23 – Mens 3m Springboard Synchro
Other Indianapolis area National Training Center Divers who qualified for this year’s World Championships include:
Kelsi Bryant: Age 18 – Women’s 3 Meter Springboard Individual, 3 Meter Springboard Synchro
Haley Ishimatsu: Age 14 – Women’s 10 Meter Platform Individual, 10 Meter Platform Synchro
Ariel Rittenhouse: Age 16 – Women’s 3 Meter Springboard Synchro
