Noblesville's Bittner wins three golds at diving event in Forest Park

On the final day of the First Annual National Grassroots Invitational at
Forest Park, several Noblesville Starz club divers recorded top finishes.
Noblesville's Kristi Bittner led the charge for the local Starz diving club
by taking home three gold medals in the 12-13 girls novice division. She
finished first in the 3-meter springboard (119.55), platform (66.50) and the
1-meter (110.20). Teammate Sydni Ebert claimed second place in the 3-meter
(98.30 ) and platform (60.50).
Noblesville Starz diving club coach Doug Hartley said the meet was a good
experience for beginning divers.
"The event is a great meet," said Hartley. "It's a great opportunity for
novice and intermediate kids to come out and experience the set up of a
Junior Olympic meet."
Other results for local divers included a fifth place for Noblesville High
School student Torey Heeren in the 14-15 girls Junior Olympic 1-meter
(196.50). Noblesville Starz diver Rylan Ridenour finished in fourth
(311.25).
Noblesville Starz's Margaret Bean finished fourth in the
10-11 girls novice 1-meter event (69.50). She placed second in the 10-11
girls novice platform (68.50).
