Results from Lund, Sweden

Three individual Starz Diving Club athletes attended and represented United States Diving in the Lund, Sweden European Diving Invitational this weekend. In attendance were 31 diving teams from 12 countries, including several national teams and international individual champions - in an event that hosted the 24th annual diving competition.
Teams included clubs and National programs from: Egypt, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Great Britain, Norway, Denmark, Kuwait, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, USA. It had been several years since the any Americans had attended this prestigious event.
The Starz, an Indiana-based competitive non-profit organization, provided the only representatives from the USA, enrolling 3 individuals. Scott Berger, of Carmel, IN, Amy Cozad, of Decatur, IN, and Meghan Wenzel, of Indianapolis, IN made this trip/ Results were astounding for a first time individual international showing!
Top 8 finishers in the events were recognized and awarded as international finalists. The Starz accrued 4 finalist performances, including an international Silver Medal! Scott Berger - 5th place in the "Senior Platform" event, 28th place in the "3 meter springboard" event. Amy Cozad - International Silver Medalist in the "FINA Group B Platform" event, and 14th place in the "FINA Group B 3 Meter Springboard" event. Meghan Wenzel - 5th place in the "FINA Group B 3 Meter" event, and 6th Place in the "FINA Group B Platform" event.
