Dive Oklahoma Garners a 4th Place Team Finish At West Nationals

The fledgling program, which emerged from the dust of the former US Diving Oklahoma City Regional Training Center, experienced a remarkable national debut this past weekend at the Speedo US Diving West National Championships. In a field of over 200 athletes, and boasting only six competitors, Dive Oklahoma outshined all but three of the top teams in the Western half of the United States. Finishing ahead of Dive Oklahoma in the final standings were perennial diving powers; Mission Viejo, The Woodlands Diving Academy, and the West National Team Champions, GC Divers. Each of these three teams had at least 15 athletes in the competition compared to the 6 for Dive Oklahoma.
Dive Oklahoma received some outstanding individual performances from all of the team’s competitors. The following is a list of individual results from the meet:
